1951 CHEVROLET 3100 PICKUP * 2K MILES * 2 DOOR * BLACK PATINA STYLE PAINT * BLACK INTERIOR * 3-SPEED MANUAL
Interior: The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl and is updated with seat belts. The upper door panels and headliner are covered in black hardboard the door and window handles are original and chrome is in good condition. The dash has been painted black and all the original gauges work well. The glove box has had all new cardboard installed along with new sun visors and the floor has had insulation new rubber mats and new peddle rubbers installed. The original steering wheel is in good condition with only a couple of scratches in it.
Exterior: The exterior paint was made to look like a custom worn patina paint job. There are only a couple of chips and most of the paint shines with a little orange peel here and there. All the chrome and insignias are in good condition the glass is all good with unique chrome new seals the wood in the bed is nice except for a couple of scratches. The stance is unique; its like it is on air but its just lowered with unique red smoothie 22- inch wheels with chrome center caps and 255x30x22 tires dated coded 2018 so thats most likely the date of the build. The sun visor is much larger than what would have come on it originally and the spot lights are for show only they have no inside control handles.
Engine: The original 215 engine has been replaced by a later 235 with split exhaust manifold optional oil filter an updated distributor with new plug wires and hoses. The engine compartment is detailed but the heater was deleted and the conversion from 6-12 volts was done by using a chrome alternator and open tube type fuse panel and all new wiring. The cold start was good with 30 plus pounds of oil pressure. The manual column shift linkage has been all rebuilt and feels like new.
Suspension and chassis: The chassis is cleaned painted and has some undercoating in some areas the rear springs have 4- inch lowering blocks and it looks like the front springs on the straight axle have been re-arched. The truck has power front disc brakes with the master cylinder and power booster mounted under the drivers seat. All the front suspension has new clean hardware but the steering wheel still has a normal amount of play for the make and model. The dual exhaust from the split manifold runs all the way to under the rear bumper where it exits.
